It is our absolute pleasure to announce, as well as express our gratitude for your anticipated interest in serving as a sponsor for our upcoming scholarship event. For over 100 years, the Distinguished Gentlemen of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, have been partnering to provide financial support for the education of dozens of our youth across the nation. Through several initiatives and national programs, we are able to assist in their matriculation. Our standing initiative, of said kind, is the "Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College" program established in 1922, which provides critical scholarship funding and programmatic support that extend throughout a student's scholastic endeavors. The goal is to maintain a pipeline that institutionalizes provision beyond just college access, and further accounts for student resilience, retention, graduation, and long-term socioeconomic and educational mobility.

By investing in this initiative, sponsors are able to help remove financial and systemic barriers for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and rising scholars in the surrounding communities. Our goal is to ensure that students not only enroll in college but are positioned to succeed. This year the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Phi Upsilon Chapter, will host the Golden Renaissance Scholarship Gala, taking place at Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in the Grand Parisian Ballroom at 6pm, in Riverside, CA on Sunday, May 17th, 2026.

Join the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Phi Upsilon Chapter, seated at the University of La Verne in partnership with the 10th House Education Foundation (501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor) for a night gilded in gold inspired by the timeless of the Golden Era of Harlem Renaissance as we honor distinguished trailblazing community leaders whose unwavering commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service has forged a lasting legacy of impact in the local communities of Inland Empire, California and surrounding Southern California Communities. The cost of the event is $150 per person. There will be a souvenir program published which highlights the honorees, which will also include advertisements from friends, businesses, and organizations. We are asking that each sponsoring organization purchase a full-page advertisement for their honoree. Also, we are asking that all tickets, tables, and advertisements are purchased by May 2, 2026, before the late admission fee.

This Harlem Nights-themed evening will feature: a three-course fine dining experience, a stellar awards ceremony, a Cotton Club Revue-themed entertainment and performances, live jazz entertainment, a visual art performance, 50/50raffle, a silent auction and more. This elegant evening is supported by the University of La Verne, 10th House Foundation, Alpha West Empowerment Foundation, Black Chamber of Commerce Inland Empire, and others.
